When in Portugal do as the locals….
The photos are made in local cafés and restaurants
The first night near the farmhouse in Evora , deep fried BA-ca-lhau , that’s the way you say it. Quite tasty but was fishing with a toothpick for hours. Everywhere you get nice little bits, bread sardine paste, octopus salad , butter — but it is. Extra on the bill!
The canard was very delicious and served us twice as we did take a doggy bag. We have decided to order one for two but sometimes, as usual I cannot choose When in Portugal do as the locals….
